Itinerary
On arrival at Jammu railway station, meet our representative and drive to Katra. On reaching, check into the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Katra.
After breakfast, proceed to Banganga and begin your trek to Vaishno Devi Temple, located in the Trikuta Mountains at an altitude of 5,200 ft. The 12 km trek can be done on foot or by pony / palki (own expense). Visit the sacred cave shrine housing the three pindis of Mata Mahakali, Mata Mahalakshmi, and Mata Mahasaraswati. Return to Katra by evening. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Amritsar. On arrival, check into the hotel and rest. In the evening, visit the Wagah Border (Attari Border) to witness the Beating Retreat Ceremony performed before sunset. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at Amritsar.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit Golden Temple, the holiest shrine of Sikhism with its unique architecture and serene surroundings. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh, a national memorial commemorating the 1919 massacre. Later, explore Sheetla Mandir and nearby local attractions. By evening, drop at Amritsar Railway Station for your onward journey.
