Itinerary
Upon arrival at Jammu railway station our executive will receive you with a warm welcome. You will be transferred to Katra. On arrival, check into the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Katra.
After breakfast, proceed to Banganga to start your trek towards Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan, located in the Trikuta Mountains at an altitude of around 5200 feet. The shrine is approximately 12 km from Katra and can be reached by pony, palki or on foot. Visit the Mata Vaishno Devi cave shrine housing the three pindies of Mata Mahakali, Mata Mahalakshmi, and Mata Mahasaraswati. After darshan, return to Katra. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for Shiv Khori Darshan, a natural cave shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The cave is about half a kilometres long and houses a 4-feet high naturally formed Shivling. After darshan, return to Katra. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. You will be dropped at Jammu Railway Station for your onward journey with wonderful memories.
