Spiti Valley Adventure Itinerary
Depart from Delhi by evening in a comfortable Volvo bus. Enjoy the scenic overnight journey towards Shimla.
After a quick breakfast at Narkanda, continue your drive along the Satluj River into the beautiful Kinnaur Valley. Arrive at Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibet border. Check-in to your hotel or homestay. Dinner and overnight stay.
Wake up to a mesmerizing sunrise in Chitkul. After a short village walk and exploration, head towards Kalpa, a peaceful village overlooking Kinner Kailash peaks. Reach by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Kalpa.
Post breakfast, enter Spiti Valley through the Sumdo border. En route visit: Nako Lake, Tabo Monastery (constructed in 996 AD). Drive through the thrilling Ka Loops. Arrive at Kaza, the heart of Spiti. Check-in and overnight stay.
Today's exploration includes: Key Monastery, Chicham Suspension Bridge, Hikkim - World's highest post office, Komic - One of the highest villages in Asia, Langza - Known for ancient fossils and the Buddha statue. Return to Kaza for overnight stay.
Early morning check-out. Drive via Losar village and Kunzum Pass (4,551 m) to reach the magical Chandratal Lake. Enjoy stargazing under the Himalayan sky. Overnight stay at a campsite near Batal/Chandratal.
After breakfast, cross Rohtang Pass and drive towards Manali. Reach by evening. Explore Old Manali cafés and relax. Overnight stay in Manali.
Spend your day visiting: Hadimba Temple, Mall Road, Old Manali Market. Evening board your return Volvo to Delhi.
Reach Delhi by morning with lifetime memories of Spiti Valley.
