Tour Itinerary
Depart from Delhi by evening in a Volvo bus. Enjoy an overnight journey through the hills towards Aut, the gateway to the Tirthan Valley.
Arrive at Aut by morning. Backpackers: Head to Gushaini, check-in to the resort, enjoy breakfast, and go for a short trek to Choie Waterfall. Bikers: Collect bikes in Manali, do a test ride, and ride down to Gushaini. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Begin the ride/drive towards Chitkul, the last Indian village near the Indo-Tibet border. Drive alongside the Satluj River and admire the stunning Kinnaur Valley. Reach Chitkul by evening, check-in to camps, dinner and overnight stay.
Wake up to a stunning sunrise view over the Himalayas. Explore Chitkul village and its beautiful landscape. Post lunch, head towards Kalpa. Evening check-in at the hotel in Kalpa. Dinner and overnight stay.
Begin the journey into Spiti Valley. Enter through Sumdo, stop at Nako Lake, visit the ancient Tabo Monastery, and pass through the winding Ka Loops. Reach Kaza by evening. Check-in to the campsite, dinner and overnight stay.
Explore some of Spiti's most iconic high-altitude villages: Key Monastery – Spiti's largest monastery, Chicham Bridge – Asia’s highest suspension bridge, Komic – Asia’s highest motorable village, Hikkim – Home to the world's highest post office, Langza – Known for its fossils and giant Buddha statue. Return to Kaza by evening. Dinner and overnight stay.
Leave Kaza and proceed toward the beautiful Chandra Taal Lake. Stop at Losar for refreshments – the last inhabited village of Spiti. Continue over Kunzum Pass to reach the crescent-shaped Chandra Taal Lake. Check-in at camps near Batal or Chandra Taal, dinner under the stars, and overnight stay.
Depart for Manali via Batal, Gramphu, and Rohtang Pass. Reach Manali by afternoon, check-in to the hotel. Explore Old Manali cafés in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.
After breakfast, enjoy free time to explore Hadimba Temple, Old Manali, and Mall Road. Board the evening Volvo bus to Delhi. Overnight journey.
