Tour Itinerary
Leave from Delhi by late evening and enjoy an overnight journey to Shimla by Volvo.
Drive through Kufri, Narkanda, and the scenic Indo-Tibetan Highway. Enter Kinnaur Valley by crossing the iconic Kinnaur Gate, known as the Gateway to Kinnaur. Reach Chitkul, the last Indian village near the Indo-Tibet border. Check-in to hotel, dinner, and overnight stay in Chitkul/Sangla.
Wake up to a stunning morning in Chitkul. After breakfast, explore the village (subject to weather). Visit Roghi Village’s Cliff Point and explore the Peo Market, the biggest market in Kinnaur. Reach Kalpa, check-in to hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your journey to Spiti Valley. Visit Nako Lake, cross Ka loops, and enter Spiti through Sumdo Border. By evening, arrive in Tabo and explore the ancient Tabo Monastery. Check-in, dinner, and overnight stay in Tabo.
Start with a visit to Dhankar Monastery, offering breathtaking views of the Spiti-Pin confluence. Explore Key Monastery, perched dramatically on a hill. Drive to Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest suspension bridge. Reach Kaza, check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin a scenic tour of high-altitude Himalayan villages. Visit Langza, known for ancient marine fossils and the iconic Buddha statue. Head to Hikkim to send a postcard from the world’s highest post office. End the day in Komic, Asia’s highest motorable village. Return to Kaza, dinner, and overnight stay.
Depart from Kaza after breakfast and retrace your journey through Spiti to reach Kalpa. Check-in, dinner, and overnight stay.
