On Day 2, explore the scenic beauty of Sonamarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold.” Day 3 takes you to the lush landscapes of Pahalgam, the “Valley of Shepherds,” with stops at saffron fields and ancient ruins. The package includes accommodation, meals, private transfers, and a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Ideal for couples seeking nature, tranquility, and unforgettable memories in the heart of Kashmir.
Itinerary
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, meet our representative and transfer to the houseboat. Later, proceed for local sightseeing covering the famous Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashma Shahi, Pari Mahal, and Shankaracharya Temple. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Srinagar Houseboat.
After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg, the “Meadow of Gold” located in the Sindh Valley. You may hire a pony to visit the Thajiwas Glacier (at your own cost). Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel. Note: Vehicle will drop and pick you from Sonamarg stand; local sightseeing to glacier is on direct payment.
After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds. En route visit Saffron Fields at Pampore and Awantipora Ruins (1100-year-old Vishnu Temple). In Pahalgam, enjoy serene pine forests and the tranquil Lidder River. Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel. Note: Visits to Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari are by local taxi only (on direct payment).
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. You will be dropped at Srinagar Airport for your onward journey. Tour concludes with sweet memories.
