Itinerary
Meet on arrival at Bangalore Airport / Railway Station and drive to Coorg – Madikeri. On arrival, check into the resort, have lunch and relax. Later proceed to visit Abbey Falls – tucked away between private coffee and spice estates, Madikeri Fort – the 19th-century fort with its stone ramparts now housing the prison, Omkareshwara Temple – built in 1820 featuring a blend of Kerala and Islamic-style architecture. In the evening, visit Raja Seat – an enchanting picnic spot set amidst nature. Return to hotel and overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed to visit Bhagamandala – situated at the confluence of rivers Cauvery and Kanika, with Sujyothi said to join from underground. Continue to Talacauvery – the origin of river Cauvery, located at the foot of the scenic Brahmagiri Hills. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Coorg.
Early breakfast and checkout. Proceed to Dubare Elephant Camp (reach before 08:30 AM) for a 3-hour experience with elephants including grooming and feeding. Later visit Cauvery Nisargadhama – a picnic island formed by the river Cauvery with thick bamboo groves. After lunch at Kushalnagar, visit Bylakuppe – the largest Tibetan settlement in South India, where the Golden Temple with its 62-feet Buddha statues is a major attraction. Later, drive to Bangalore. On arrival, drop at Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey. Tour Ends.
